You are the elite. The officer keeping the rabble together, by sheer charismatic ability or an occasional Laspistol round to the forehead. It is up to YOU (and the Sergeant, maybe) to ensure that the Guardsmen are disciplined, loyal and competent. If they aren't, feel free to lash/execute/berate them for their idiocy, within reason of course.
Your Duties[]
Be a complete dickhead*BLAM* INSUBORDINATION!- Oversee the Guardsmen and ensure the morale, faith and competence are up to standard.
- Obey your orders from your superiors.
(unless they're heretics)*BLAM* IMPLYING HERESY AMONG YOUR SUPERIORS IS INSUBORDINATION, INSUBORDINATION IS HERESY! - Fight with all your strength and faith in the God-Emperor, inspiring the men under your command. (not really a duty, but recommended)
- Looking good in your stylish greatcoat and hat.
- Enforcing order on the outpost along with the rest of Security.
What is Heresy?[]
Heresy is anything that goes against what the Imperium/The Emperor stands or.
This Includes, not only:
- Praising Chaos.
- Not worshipping the Emperor. (Tech Priests are off this category, and aren't heretical for this if they praise the Omnissiah instead.)
- Insubordination
- Friendly relations with xeno filth.
- Using xenos tech (possible leniency allowed if the Tech Priests don't find out and the person who is using it kills about 10 xenos with it , even then they still meant to get flogged, or shot, you are the Commissar after all)
- Letting xenos or heretics get the Commissar´s (your) hat.
Not Being an asshole as a CommissarINSUBORDINATION!*BLAM*
- Talking about Chaos as a good thing.
- Telling your subordinates to eat shit.
- Not ordering your subordinates to move closer, so you can hit something with your chainsword/melee weapon. (You're a commissar, use that authority.)
- Not taking time out of your day to bitch slap some heretical and xeno scum. (This also may include daemons. Because if you're gonna die, at least you doled out some pimp slaps to some daemon bitchs.)
Commissar's Custom Items[]
As a Commissar, your most trust worthy item, second to your hat, is your laspistol, with it you will execute all heretics in the Emperor's name.
A secondary item is the whip, used in punishments.
Your hat is what makes you a Commissar, (apart from your years of experience and zealotry in the Emperor's name) without it you aren't a full Commissar, keep it safe at all costs.
How Commissars Should Behave[]
As a Commissar, you make sure no heretics or cowards live in the Imperial Guard, or the outpost. You should also be ruthless and zealous in the Emperor's name.
The Guardsmen should fear you, even when you arent near them.
